Airlock Industries

Airlock Industries, a suppressor brand, first tried to launch on WordPress and ran into problems. Self-built WordPress stores for regulated products often lean on a patchwork of plugins for age verification, checkout, and payments, so we launched Airlock on Shopify instead.

What does a Shopify agency for outdoor brands do?
With a combined 20 years working in the outdoor and sporting goods industries, and because we hunt, fish and are outdoorsmen ourselves, we plan, design, and build Shopify stores around how gear is actually bought: detailed specs, model and size variants, dealer networks, and seasonal launches. That covers theme and custom builds, headless front ends, store rebuilds, apps and integrations, and the ongoing support that keeps a store fast after launch.
Should my outdoor brand use Shopify or Webflow?
If selling products online is the core of the business, Shopify is usually the right foundation because inventory, checkout, and payments are built in. Webflow is a separate service we offer for design-led brand sites with lighter commerce needs; our Webflow for outdoor brands page covers when it's the better fit.
What is headless Shopify, and do I need it?
Headless means Shopify still runs products, inventory, and checkout, while a separate custom front end handles what shoppers see. It gives you very fast pages and full design and content control, which is what we built for Elite Archery. Most smaller catalogs don't need it; a well-built Shopify theme is simpler to run.
Can you rebuild our Shopify store without losing search rankings?
Yes, if the rebuild is planned around your existing URLs. We map every old product, collection, and content URL to its new home, set up 301 redirects, carry over titles and descriptions, and check the new site for broken links before and after launch.
Do you build Shopify stores for firearms and regulated products?
Yes. Shopify allows firearm sales from qualified US merchants with the right setup, but Shopify Payments can't be used and checkout needs compliant transfer workflows. Our firearms and high-risk ecommerce page covers how we handle payments, FFL transfers, and marketing within the rules.
