Ecommerce analytics
for outdoor brands

Wildspark sets up and fixes ecommerce analytics for outdoor and sporting goods brands: GA4, Google Tag Manager, server-side tagging, and event tracking for Shopify and Amazon. Then we turn the data into dashboards and reports your team actually reads, so you know what's selling, where buyers come from, and where they drop off.

Let's Talk!
The Problem

You can't improve what you can't measure

Most outdoor brands have analytics installed, but few trust it. GA4 disagrees with Shopify, purchases go missing from reports, ad platforms each claim credit for the same sale, and nobody has time to dig through it all. Decisions end up resting on gut feel.

Analytics is the layer that makes your Shopify store and Amazon listings measurable. When it's set up right, you can see which products, channels, and campaigns are actually paying off.

What's Included

Tracking you can trust, reports you'll read

GA4 Setup & Audits
A clean GA4 property, or an audit of the one you have: duplicate tags, missing events, broken purchase tracking, and settings that quietly skew your numbers.
Tag Manager & Server-Side Tagging
Google Tag Manager set up so tracking is organized and easy to change, plus server-side tagging when your ad spend calls for more complete data.
Shopify & Amazon Event Tracking
Ecommerce events from product view to purchase on Shopify, and Amazon Attribution for the traffic you send to your Amazon storefront.
Conversion & Funnel Reporting
See where shoppers drop off between product page, cart, and checkout, and which channels bring buyers instead of browsers.
Looker Studio Dashboards
Dashboards built around the few numbers that drive decisions, pulling GA4, Shopify, and ad data into one place.
Ongoing Reporting & Analysis
Regular reports in plain English that explain what changed, why, and what to do next, instead of exports nobody opens.
Who It's For

Gear brands that want answers from their data

Shopify Stores
Outdoor and sporting goods brands selling direct on Shopify who need accurate purchase tracking and clear reporting by product and channel.
Amazon Sellers & Vendors
Brands selling on Amazon who want to know which of their own ads, emails, and posts are driving Amazon sales.
Brands Running Ads
Teams spending on Google, Meta, or other ads who need conversion data clean enough to decide where the next dollar goes.

FAQ

Common questions

Our GA4 numbers don't match Shopify. Can you fix that?
Usually, yes, though the two will never match exactly. Shopify counts every order, while GA4 only sees visits it is allowed to track, so consent banners, ad blockers, duplicate or missing tags, and checkout events that never fire all widen the gap. We audit the setup, fix what's broken, and document the gap that remains so you know which number to trust for which decision.
Do you build dashboards?
Yes. We build Looker Studio dashboards around the handful of numbers your team actually acts on, such as revenue by channel, conversion rate, average order value, and product performance, instead of a wall of every metric GA4 can produce.
Can you tag our existing store without a rebuild?
Yes. Tracking lives in Google Tag Manager, Shopify's customer events, and your ad platforms, not in your theme's design, so we can set up or repair it on the store you already have.
Can you track sales on Amazon?
Amazon doesn't allow Google Analytics on product listings, so Amazon tracking works differently. We use Amazon Attribution to measure the traffic you send to Amazon from ads, email, and social, and bring Amazon's own sales reporting into the same view as your Shopify store.
What is server-side tagging, and do we need it?
Server-side tagging sends tracking data through your own tagging server before it reaches Google, Meta, and other platforms. It can make data more complete and gives you more control over what is shared. It's worth it for brands spending real money on ads; smaller stores are often fine with a clean standard setup.
